We had a full set of Hipers and honestly, didnt care for them. The ones we had werent light and are a PITA.
Eventually when money allow we will shoot for some rear Douglas or OMF's.
The quad came with the wheels shown . ;)

QJ, Just out of curiosity, how were the hipers a pita?

The fronts were the biggest pita because there is no lip on the inside and changing tires isnt as easy.We change tires quite abit.
The added weight was rediculous also.I was surprised just how much heavier they are, I always thought they were light.
Other than the bling, were just not a hiper fan.

the non beadlock hipers are not very heavy. dont need beadlocks on the front, just the rear. they weigh about the same as my douglas beadlocks and they stay looking good 10x's longer than aluminum

I know that, but thats just our preference. Beadlocks just lok much better if they all match so we bought a full set.
We have never had a probem keeping aluminum looking good,especially a Douglas,dont care much for the ITP. Kelseys very hard on wheels for some reason, but we have had good luck with what we have.
WE have raced several years and only had one issue blowing the bead and thats when my daughter had a nasty crash ast year.
I think were in good shape for now .;)

Ive seen more issues with a hiper breaking .
To each there own I guess.

Moneys tight this year so extras are put on hold.

Thanks guys. The gear in the first pic is just some standard thor gear that was made in 2007 i believe. The second pic is pinstripe limited edition thor gear also made in '07. A. for the pink goggles, haha, they're spy magnetos. I love 'em haha.

i had a DASA on mine but the noise was a issue, so i had to pull it off and bought a Yosh 96db pipe. heres another pic of my LT-R

the yosh has two, one is a spark arrested insert with a plug that hurts the power too much fore me, thats the 96db one, the other is a volume reducing insert with no baffle, so the power isnt affectecd that much but is a 99db insert. then there is the option of no insert, like Doug Gust runs... that is pushing 104db like a DASA.

Like the others have said it is a Dasa. I had the header and mid pipe ceramic coated black and the end caps on the canister anodized black for a stealth look. I didn't add the Dasa stickers because I was tired of them burning off.

Gust can't be running a 104db pipe.... Pro's have strickter noise restrictions. thats why you see the big cans on some of the pro's head pipes

When you remove the light switch, what do you with the choke cable????

I have been wanting to remove that for the longest time,just not sure. I ordered a hotstart lever from ASV just to see if I could make it fit.

You can take the cable all the way off. Yoshi makes a plug, but I believe a 6mm screw will work also.

We just bought 4/1 offset wheels and I was surprised how much it made a difference! Not so wide now, it almost looked too narrow after seeing it so wide for so long. lol

Kory Ellis's Bike had the black with that graphics kit and had a Yellow PC frame... looked siiiick. I like bikes that have a graphics kit that still makes the bike flow but has contrasting colors. I have Green and Black Monster Graphics on my White and Green KFX. I like it

I'll see if I can get some pics of the Deere tomorrow for you hahaha. The thing is F'in huge... just got it in December. Before that we had a 4520 but it just didn't have enough power. Couldn't lift a car (very high) or heavy rocks. When trying to go through some of the fields that have rocks in them so that we can rent the land out to a farmer, the 4520 would always get stuck haha.

Man you have good timing lol! We have a snowblower attachment for the JD so plowing the driveway at our farm in the winter is easy!

I actually really like those mini tractors... they are SO COOL! lol. I think we might get one of the mini John Deere versions for my cottage haha.

We also have a smaller John Deere for the farm... it's a 3720 or something like that. It's good for mowing the larger lawns as well as smaller jobs.

I would NOT get a DMC... I bought one b/c it was cheap and my DASA got mangled by another racer, it no where came close to putting out the power my Dasa did. plus I thought the headed looked cheap and it didnt sound near as good either

Update for me:

-Installed Pro Armor A-Arm guards
-Installed my front tires/wheels
-Installed DMC full system exhaust
-got my friend to get some videos of me riding
-Installed SRP case saver, modified stock cover (that I will paint this week) so that it will fit over the newer, thicker case saver

I will hopefully paint the stock case saver cover this week. Also on Friday night, I will probably head out to the farm to start up the LTR and hear the new exhaust (and get some sound clips/videos), to install my outerwears airbox lid, to install my trail tech vapor speed cable (the replacement cable), and to put the plastics back on.

Then the only things left to do really are to get a Quad Tech beak, some Trail Tech shock-mounted lights, and a CCP stabilizer. Then my build will pretty much be done!

Nope, its perfect. Fox set it up themself. Handles beautifully.

This is not set up for alot of sag.. are you familiar with WORCS ?

You can take this and still clear 100 foot jumps on the MX.

Rick Strickland and Shannon at Fox has set her suspension 2 out of 3 of the races .
They have been so great to have there .Im gonna have to get with him to fix her rear shock, something broke on it this last race . Also my boy bent his rear shock bolt. Might have to go dual spring on his rear .

Trail Tech lights are in the mail (were shipped from the US, and have been sitting at the post office in Toronto for the past week.... WTF?) as well as some Renthal grips. Going to order a black QT beak, an electronics guard, and DFR rear fender graphics sometime soon.

i have a 06 ltr... i have a full sparks, a uni intake, cbrm, yosh cam, and a high comp piston, and as far as performance goes, this things an animal.. the cam is almost to aggresive, its a holeshot machine. if your not making a race bike, i suggest you stay away from the yosh cam, but if your looking for the most snap for racing, go for it.. its kinda expensive but its well worth it.. my ltr is stock suspension with holeshot tires all the way around.. it handles pretty nice, jumps pretty nice, and with the 5 mods i added for performance, its pullllsss really hard!!! ltr is the best race quad out there, hands down..

its the hi comp piston and full exhaust that makes that a holeshot machine... in almost every case a cam takes away from bottom end power. just saying. these things are beast thow. lol

Cams can be made to put power anywhere.... most of the shelf cams out there like hotcams add top end
