I have only rode on the fronts so far and it was only indoor...they seem to handle very well...I am going to redbud next weekend hopefully if its not to muddy...i plan on running the rears there to test em out

You can tell by the exhaust cause the handmade yosh headers only pros can get, they look different then the mass produced ones and have different heat sheilds. So post one up. ;)

The way the header is bent, it has a different shape than the mass produced ones, and in the picture above that says "next to a regular rs-5" the only reason you silencer is different looking is because it is the first generation, the newer team bikes use custom one off silencers similar to the second gens, but still different and still the same headers..its just the way yoshi built the pipes for the pros...

I started cutting at the first corner on the front fenders. Got the idea from kory ellises yfz450.

Im going to sand and polish up the A-arms, tie rods, swing arm, stem, rims, and maybe frame and more like my last quad.

Thats why I clear coat the polished steel so it dont rust and keeps the shine.

so im a die hard honda guy. always had them and alays thought i would. i love my 400ex and normally did alright in c class racing. always top 5. but i blew it up a little while ago and and a bunch of the guys i race with has ltrs. well one of the guys races a diffrent class told me i could use his for c class this past weekend. i had never ridden one of these before in my life and i wasnt at the track in ime for practice. so i figured that the first race would be intresting because i have no idea how it handles or anything. anyways after the first race i got to the pits ad asked how i placed and found out that i took 1st and was about 1/4 lap ahead of everyone.:D since that my 400 is now for sale as soon as i get it rebuilt. heres a few pics from the races

Hey Quadjunkies how do you like them JB a arms? I have been running JB stuf on my honda for 4 years now and couldnt be happier.
We are currently modding our suzuki, and will be getting either walsh or the new JB pro a arms (which are practically the same as walsh, just cheapier). Just wondering if your happy with the Fox/JB set up.

In all honesty, we found to have more bump steer than we thought there would be ,but so far pretty good! Still need to get a 4-1 offset, that should help some also. :) Im trying to talk her into a ARSFX set up down the road but who knows. lol
the ground clearance will come in very handy for WORCS racing.
Once we figure out a way to mount handguards and flexx bars, they wil be added too,there jsut isnt enough room to work right now.

mounting handguards are just a pain in general on the ltr there really just about isnt enough room, if you get rid of the factory on and off start switch and switch to a cr style you can fit the handguards in there nicely, although it still is a tight fit you can move the handguards to your liking instead of having them in a position where it really doesnt protect your hand.

you can see there is plenty of room although i do have a four play steering stem which helps greatly getting some space back on the bars to be able to mount the handguards.

Check out ROX racing billet products. They make a mount just for flexx bars and powermadd handguards. I think the mount fits into the pivot pins in the bars so NO bar space is used up

Check out ROX racing billet products. They make a mount just for flexx bars and powermadd handguards. I think the mount fits into the pivot pins in the bars so NO bar space is used up
We have had alot of there products before, Ill check that out!

be careful with those paddles. one of my smart friends had barely any clearance with his 20's and his heelgaurd. hit a jump and it ripped the heelguard off.. cough cough drewltr450cough :blah:

Yeah, they paddles ended up being tighter than I expected them to be. I fully compressed my suspension and it kept about 1.5"+ of clearance all the way down, I think the ProArmor nerfs gave me a little bit more clearance than stock. I'll only be using them on Pismo's super fine sand so I think I'll be ok... if not oh well, gives me an excuse to rebuild my rear end.

And to whoever's being a prick about "stock quads", not all of us have raging hard-ons for an orgy of stickers and fluorescent paint. I've got a Big Gun power box, Wiseco pro-lite piston, upgraded cam, ported and polished head, etc. I'm just a fan of the "street sleeper" concept and don't want my quad to look like I let an 8 year old go ape-sh*t with a rattle can of neon paint and a pack of stickers. I'm not a competition racer and I don't have sponsors throwing hardware at me. I ride for fun, chill on the insults.

I agree. atveric132-that was a rude comment, you might want to think before you make a post like that in the future.:ermm: The topic isnt supposed to be a show up on whos ride is nicer anyhow,its supposed to be people who are just proud to have there rides .Everyones taste in dif too so be respectful.
