i well i got my motor all together is a 416 with hot rods crank, stg1 hotcams and a edeldbrock quick silver carb. and I'm braking it in but i when i adjust the carb it does nothing i went . 25 turn richer did nothing then i went 1 turn richer and it did not change anything any 1 have any ideas? it runs good not backfiring nothing. i don't want to over heat it I checked for air leeks their are none.

Listing your current jetting, intake/exhaust mods, and riding environment (elev. temps) would help.
The fuel screw is only for fine-tuning the pilot circuit.

i have an k&n, air box lid with holes, edelbrock quick silver carb, full lrd exhaust, p&p, it's about 70 deg f.
their is a pump shot adjustment and the needel adjustment when i adjust ether 1 it does not help or hurt the runing of the motor.

Whoops, sorry I missed the Quicksilver carb part. I've not played with one so I'm not much help.
