300ex Oil Change

I recently purchased a 97 300ex and have a user's manual on order but am badly in need of an oil change. I have purchased the oil/filter, know where the drain plug, filter housing, and level check are. Any special instructions? Where do you refill the oil and how much does it take (just under 3 quarts?).

You pull out the dipstick on the right side of the engine and put the oil in there. Make sure you put the plug in the bottom of the engine first..LOL.Yes it takes just under 3 quarts of oil.Use a pretty lond lasting oil too like Castrol GTX.

I thought it was just under 2 quarts, at least thats what it is on a 2001 300ex.
