Handlebars and steering dampner

I race xc and am wanting more comfort in the steering. should i go witha steering dampner/stabilizer first.. or bars, suchas Tag metals. on a tight budget. :devil:

i raced my 300ex one time and I couldnt control my front end. As soon as I got home monday morning, i ordered a denton rebuildable one. I will NEVER ride without one again.

I just ordered a Denton Rebuildable Steering Stabilizer. Its on back order:(
Should be nice improvement so I would go with a Denton.
