what do u clean your air filter with, i herd u can clean it with kerosene i dont know if this is true or not.

regular foam types like stock, UNI, Twin air and other are best cleaned with the filter cleaner in a spray can.. solvents like gas or kerosene shouldnt really be used or at least not a lot because they break down the glues that hold the filters together...
k&n or fabric types should only be cleaned with the K&N cleaner or under warm tap water with some kind of dish soap or something...
make sure you re-oil the filter!!!!
Hot soapy water will be fine for a foam filter. Rinse thoroughly, squeeze out excess moisture (don't wring it). Let dry completely then reoil with foam filter oil.
