Cut Fenders Post PICS!!!!

I am thinking of trimming my 300EX front fenders. I don't want to hack them right off I still want the back of the fender the same size. I just want to change the look of the front because it is so plain looking. I would like them to look like fullbore fenders or even 400EX fronts. Could you post pics of your cut fenders for me to get some ideas THANKS!!!!!

Those do look good but I want to keep alot of the fender to stop the mud and water. There is nothing more anoying than driving down the road or trail having water slung in your eyes.

Like I said I just want to spice up the look of the plain 300 fenders but them still function! This is the look I would like!

Then why cut them? It's mostly us Racer's who cut them anyway's.If your not going to Race then WHY cut them,And yes you will get all kind's of mud and water flung on you i rec. you buy some tearoff's ALOT of them if you do cut them

I would leave them as is before I cut them right off!!!!!!!!!

basically your only option then is to leave them. i dont think they would look good unless you went with a full race cut look. and thats called race cut for a reason. if you do cut them off you will like it a lot more. improves visibility while doing wheelies and jumping an incredible amount.

if i were u i would try thishttp://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid164/p629505f84335b5696e94f04b0d040403/f4899b0a.jpg just cut wide infront on the warnin label ,round it off before the warnin label and make ur way down to under the tank bout 3 inches or so or if u wanna have it still attach to teh bracket. other than that i would try that to see how u like it,but u can always shave it down more as u go;)

Not really they are totally differen and if you tried it probably wouldnt come out right i would just leave them like they are and put a 250r hood with the light on it they look pretty cool like that

yes it is possible..........cut it...then go buy a 250r vented hood

I like something like quicksilver01 has done to the 250 but not even that much cot off. I want to make them look like the fullbore fenders that I posted earlier!

You CAN'T. It is a completely different fender.

I'd cut them the way 300extreme#8 said to cut them...that would look the best

if i had the 300 i would do like 300extreme#8 said then put on the 250r hood that would be the best option or you could go a little wider than 300extreme#8 said and it would still look alright

Mine has the 250R hood on it :D . That is one of the best looks mods that you can make to a 300ex.

I cut the plastics on my friends 300ex...

He just needs to take that light off and it'll look sweet(and yes he's gotten new tires since then)
