ok....i have been riding a souped up warrior for about 4 years...i decided it was time for a new bike....i dont race and dont live near san dunes....tho there are colomn banks. Ive been asking popl an every1 said 400ex.My main riding is trails and once in a while colomn's. i just bought a quadzila 500. it is EXTREMEly fast. But it isnt too good in the trails. And it is very hard to start. I want to new if i should keepthe quadzilla and fix up the carb.... and if not wat should i buy.....also if you do say a 400ex like every1 else is.....i there a reverse kit i can bu to put in it?????????

No reverse mod possible on 400's. 400ex...z400...ds650 (kinda big for tight trails) new raptor (handeling not as good as the 400ex. I think thats about it.

if its real hard to start, might want to look into rebuilding the top end..

Yeah a banshee sounds good, i think no matter what u get will work out good for u, because its not like u r a woods racer or any thing or u go though the trails in 5th, or 6th wide open. Which would u preferr a 4 stroke or a 2 stroke?

if u wanna sell it i really want to buy one but it better be cheap if it has carb problems etc.

don't get a banshee for the woods. yes some people can ride em real good through the woods but theres no denying a 400ex is a better trail quad. personally i love my EX in the trails. best trail quad i have ridden ever (i have have ridden almost every kind of sport quad) if you want reverse check out the new z-400. i also liked my lt in the woods but it might not be for you either.
the zilla might just be hard to start cuz its 500cc but i dunno their not all that hard compared to some of the other things out there.

i preferr 4 strokes to, i do race but i ride trails alot to so would not want to rebuild it evey month. i think u should look in to a 400, if u dont have 6 grand to get a new one then 2000 are still the same machine just older. u can usally find a good one for 35-4 grand.

If you liked the Warrior, you should move up to a Suzuki LT80. The Warriors suck.

I think the z400 would be a good quad to look into. No offense people, but i don't see a good reason to get a 400ex w/ the Z400 coming out. The only reason i would want the ex is becuase it is Honda. But w/ liquid cooling and reverse and 2pounds lighter i'm not seeing any advatages.
just my opinion though....

Keep in mind this is the z400's first year...I'd give it some time to work out the bugs before i jumped on in. Looks like a great quad but think about...Cannondale fx...Raptor...both good companies but still didn't get it right the first year.
Just my $.02

Thats a good point pdunes. But they will work them out like C-dale and yamahaha did. But i think it'll be worth it.

How much longer in till it is possible to get a Z400?? They do sound like a pretty awsome 400 though. but im not sure if he wants to wait that long to get a bike or if he wants one soon. I got laughing when i was looking though a dirt wheels mag and they have a but load of after market parts for the Z400 but they are not even in production.

while i cant say the ex is a bad bike there is no replacement for displacement. if you want a four stroke with reverse id have to say get a raptor. i have had to manhandle my banshee out of enough mud holes to wish i had reverse.if your going from a bike with reverse to a bike with out(ex or banshee or whatever)you will wish you had it. ( this is where all the ex guys start to pi** and moan):p

TRX250XFIRE they are in production..but the dealers havn't got them yet. And some of the engine mods are probaly for the dirtbike. But i think suzuki might have shipped some bikes to aftermarket companies or something. But dirtwheels had a pic of 1 from the dealer expo w/ a bunch of their accesorries.
Rick-If he got the raptor then he would have to race open class if he decides he wants to race someday. Most people try 1 race...

if you like the power of the quadzilla then get a 250r

the 250r has great 2 stroke power and will piss on both the banshee and uadzilla in the woods, and with the right amount of work can be just as fast as the banshee or quadzilla.

but on the track and trails youll smoke both the banshee and quadzilla(along with the 400ex )

Keep the quadzilla. You will be able to retire by selling it some day. If it is in good shape, it will not loose value. Always good to have something like that in your back pocket too for when those pesky banshee riders start getting al lil too cocky.
