Project Quads - Custom Built ATV Racing Machines

Moto Pro Training Honda Honda Foreman 500

2013 Honda Foreman 500 Utility ATV Project Build
::Continued::

This obviously is not a model that most people take and modify to the fullest.  There were no companies offering after market front or rear suspension for this model so fortunately our relationship with another industry leader Elka Suspension proved to be another ace in our pocket for this project.

Jay Gobel of Impact Solutions stepped up to the plate and took on the project for us. Taking the quad back to Elka head quarters Jay worked his magic and created a set of fully adjustable state of the art Stage 5 units for this beast.  The rear was extremely challenging do to space limitations and odd sized mounting bolts. Jay used his resources and was able to use a unit from the snowmobile side of Elka and modify it to fit the Honda Foreman. The shocks mounted up seamlessly and along with the added performance they look great.

Although there wasn't yet an aftermarket shock available for the Honda Foreman, Jay Goble of Impact Solutions ATV and Elka were up to the challenge. They were able to put together a shock that fit perfect on the Moto Pro Training Honda Foreman Project

With having more power and better handling we needed to fine-tune the ergonomics of the machine. Rox Speed FX provided 2” bar risers that we fitted to 14 degree Enduro High Fasst Flexx bars. If you have not tried this combination we highly suggest it.

Flexxbars
Fasst Company provided a set of their amazing Flexx bars, which we mounted to Rox Speed FX risers 2" bar risers that allow for a better riding stance

The Flexx handlebars are not only the most advance and strongest on the market, but they also provide better leverage making these utility machines steer easier and quicker. The Rox Speed FX risers allow a good aggressive riding stance and take stress off of your back and arms.

To give our hands some added protection we mounted some of the most effective as well as stylish hand guards from PowerMadd.  The new Sentinel Hand guards offer more protection to the hands by having a larger shield that is mounted to 6061 aluminum mounts.  The installation is easy and these very cool looking guards come in a nice array of colors.

We then mounted the new PowerMadd Sentinel hand guards and PIAA lights to give the quad a futuristic and aggressive look. Power Madd is with out a doubt making the best hand guards on the market, they are not only highly functional, they are easy to mount, come in an array of colors, and just look really cool.
