The short wheelbase was built upon an entirely new ladder design chassis that is laser-cut and welded rather than being bolted together. By using this design, Kawasaki was able to build a stronger more durable chassis that is certified ROPS. Also with the new chassis, the engine was moved towards the rear of the machine. This not only makes it easier to access the engine for maintenance, but it also moves any engine noise and vibration behind the seats for a quieter cab.

The 2015 Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT features a rear mounted engine that isolates vibration and engine noise away from the cabin |
The Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT features a spacious cabin that can fit six full size adults comfortably. The cab is easy to get in and out of thanks to its automotive style door that add protection and style to the machine. There is plenty of leg room both front and rear and the rear bench seating is raised just a bit so passengers can have better visibility. We had a chance to ride in the rear seats with the Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT fully loaded down with six passengers and it was still comfortable even on rough trails.

Even loaded down with six people, the cab is comfortable & features plush bench seats |
There are many other items Kawasaki installed on most of the Mule Pro FXTs including tilt steering wheel and Electronic Power Steering (EPS).
|
A tilt steering wheel comes standard on most Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT models |
We thoroughly enjoyed having the extra assist with the steering as we felt we could have drove one handed for most of our drive comfortably.

Electronic Power Steering makes the steering on the Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT effortless |
