Chase Thomas Wins, Garrin
Fuller & Collins Webster Round Out Pro-Am
Podium
Washoughal, WA - After a day
and a half of W.O.R.C.S. bike races, the ATV riders
of W.O.R.C.S. were chomping at the bit to race.
Unclassified came and went, motors were revving
and the green flag dropped, before you knew it
Production A was rounding the first turn.
Noerr #842 had the holeshot, and Chase Thomas
#622 took the lead on the first lap.A few turns
before entering the off-road section of the track
points contender Collins Webster #39 broke his
axle after clearing the huge triple. Luckily he
landed without crashing.

Chase Thomas #622 would also have problems, before
entering the motocross track from the off-road
he got tangled up in a tree and bent his axle.
Noerr #842 held on to the lead for the entire
race.
Fuller was in second when he was one of many
who would have a flat tire. This allowed Keith
Johnson #1P to get by and make a charge for the
lead. Fuller’s flat tire would move Grant
Mitchell #32 up into a podium position is his
third race in the A class. Fuller #45 would charge
hard and make a comeback to take the last podium
position of third from Grant Mitchell #32.

The Woman’s A class took off with the Production
A race. Julie Russell # 1W took the holeshot.
She built up a good lead over second place Donna
Espensen #101. “Unfortunately I took a wrong
turn on to the motorcycle course putting me behind
over two minutes” Russell commented after
the race. She felt her ATV was handling the terrain
exceptionally well and thanked her sponsors for
all of their hard work and dedication. Donna wound
up getting her first win of the season, and first
W.O.R.C.S. win in a few years. "I am hoping
I can step it up over the last few rounds and
see what I can make happen,” commented Espensen.
