NEATV-MX - New England ATV Motocross Series

NEATV-MX Racing ATV Motocross Race Report
::Continued::

NEATV-MX Pro-Am Class

The Pro-Am Championship was on the line as well for the runner-ups in the second and third place positions mainly, but even at the top where Preston Young had the points lead, if he wasn’t to remain on his toes, he could lose the lead.

Southside Polaris / Mystik Lubricants / Gravely’s Cody Paolella was on a mission in the Pro-Am class as well. He was able to come off the line with the holeshot and remain in the lead for the entire race. Paolella kept his nose clean even over the rough track with two different whoop sections.

Mom & Dad / Fox Shox / FLY’s Paolella did virtually the same thing in the second moto but had to get around Hickson who snagged the holeshot. He and Hickson also came together over one of the biggest jumps on the course and nearly took each other out upon landing off the big jump but thankfully both rode away cleanly with Hickson in the lead. Later in the lap, Paolella was able to put a pass on Hickson and stayed out front the rest of the six-lapper to take the win and the overall going 1-1 on the day, one of his best finishes of the season, but not being a stranger to the podium this year.

RJ Machine / Crankworx Canada / FLY’s Jayden Hickson had a rough start to the first Pro-Am moto of the day with a pileup with Glynn and Young at the start of the race. Hickson was able to get free from the pair and get back onto track within a few moments to pursue the rest of the pack. Hickson showed his speed after this mix-up and fought all the way back up to third place before the checkered flag flew only six short laps later.
