PRP / Fairview Farms / FOX’s Preston Young was surely the man to beat this weekend with Twister being just down the road from his house in Westmoreland, NY. Young was undoubtedly one of the fastest riders on course this weekend but a few mistakes and mechanical issues made him slip back into the third spot on the podium. Nevertheless, Young came off the line in second place just behind Bluy and worked his way into first before having an issue and was forced to slide all the way back to seventh place where he finished moto one.

MAXXIS / Walsh / Rath’s Preston Young got his ducks in a row for Pro-Am moto two however and laid it all coming off the gate again with a second place but quickly moved in first place within the first few corners.

In Pro-Am Moto 2, Preston Young was back to claim the top spot on the podium and that is exactly what Young did. Young's 7-1 finishes earned his 3rd overall in the Pro-Am Class

Young proceeded to pick apart the course by himself up front and remained mistake free for the rest of the moto even though he came under some heavy pressure from the pursuing pack behind him. Young came away with the win in this moto and his 7-1 finish order was solid enough to bring home a third place podium position.

The next round of the NEATV-MX series is going to head back East further to the beautiful ocean state of Maine in the town of Lyman for the MX207 course which will play host for round 8 of the series. If the excitement of racing in the pristine forests of Maine doesn’t draw you to this round then surely the sweet taste of fresh Maine lobster will! There will be a lobsterman on site with fresh-caught lobster along with many other vendors and local attractions not found anywhere else on the circuit.
