Jasmin Plante made his return for another
round of NEATV-MX racing and secured himself
a spot on the Podium with a 3rd Overall
finish |
Canada’s Jasmin Plante rode two consistent
motos this weekend. Plante was in mid pack off
the line in the first Pro moto, but wasted no
time in working through traffic to take fourth
place and begin to close the gap on third place,
Myles Santaniello.
Although Plante was gaining ground, he was
not able to get close enough to Santaniello
to make a move before reaching the checkered
flag and had to settle for his fourth place
position. Plante was off to a better start in
the second moto and rode mostly unchallenged
to take third place, which put him in third
overall.

Jason Connell finish in 8th Overall, but
he remains in the Top 5 in points |
Aaron Meyer was looking good and came on strong
aboard his Polaris Outlaw 450 MXR. The Ohio racer
claimed mid pack starts in both motos, but consistently
worked through traffic to take a 5-6 finish and
claim fourth overall.
KTM’s Nate Morello was squeezed out on
the moto one holeshot, which put him toward
the back of the pack. Morello had his work cut
out for him as he worked his way to 9th place
before crossing the finish line. Morello got
a much better start in moto two, taking fifth
off the line. Morello reeled in Myles Santaniello
and made a clean pass to take over fourth place.
Morello had Jasmine Plante in his sights, but
was unable to lose the gap before reaching the
checkered flag. Morello’s 9-4 finishes
put him in 5th place overall in the Pro class.

the Moto 2 |
Michael Oulette who finished in 10th in Pro moto
one, came back to take a 5th place finish in the
second moto, earning himself a sixth place overall,
while Jason Connell’s consistent 8-8 finishes
had him placing in eighth overall. Can-Am’s
Matt Pomeroy had some trouble off the start in
moto one, which gave him an 11th place finish.
Pomeroy also ran into some bad luck in moto two
when his seat fell off, which slowed his efforts
of making a charge to the front and had him finishing
in seventh place, which placed him in 9th overall.
Vincent Mofford, Jr. rode a solid race with 7-11
finishes, which had him rounding out the top ten
in the Pro class.
