#143 Danny McGraw out runs the field down
the stretch to grab the Pro Holeshot |
The Pro main event saw different results from both
Coburn and Goodman. Rounding the first turn, it
was the #143 Honda of Danny McGraw that grabbed
the holeshot, followed by Michael Coburn, Brad
Riley and Harold Goodman. Goodman took no time in
making his way past Riley, and Coburn, and soon
took over the lead from McGraw. “I picked
my way through pretty quickly and once I took over
1st, I started to pull away,” said Goodman
who attributes part of his winning performance to
a TT school he conducted just two weeks prior.
“The class gave me a chance to get out
there and get some practice time on the TT bike
and get used to it,” said Harold, who is
also racing the AMA ATV Motocross Nationals as
well as a few other select events. Goodman usually
puts on about four schools during the year, but
admits that he may not be able to do that this
season. “Since the EDT schedule was condensed,
and races are so close together, it’s been
difficult to find the time to schedule classes,
but I hope to be able to do a couple of them this
fall,” said Goodman.

#137 Mitch
Reynolds just misssed yet another Podium
finish in the Pro Class with a 4th Place
finish
|
#47 Zac Willet
made the pass on Marc Noreuil to claim
the 7th spot behind Danny McGraw, and
Willet also rounded out the Top 10 in
the Pro Lites

The extra seat time that Goodman got definitely
seemed to give him the advantage in the Pro Main
Event. Goodman was able to hold his early lead
all the way to the checkered flag, taking the
win and taking over the lead in the points race
as well. “Everything just worked really
well this weekend,” said Goodman. Michael
Coburn came on strong once again and crossed
the line in second place followed by Brad Riley
in third. Mitch Reynolds ended his day in 4th
place followed by Ryan Partee in 5th, who made
an incredible charge forward from the second row.
