AMA Pro ATV Motocross - Round 3 - Ballance MX - Race Report
::Continued::

“Three podiums this season is great. Three is the most I’ve ever had in a row or even in a season. It really shows how great my program is with Wienen Motorsports. I hope to keep getting faster and move up on the podium and knock off some wins as the season progresses,” said Brown who currently holds third in the pro point’s standings.

Josh Creamer - Can-Am DS450 ATV
BCS Performance / Can-Am's Josh Creamer went 3-6 at Ballance MX earning him 4th overall
BCS Performance / Can-Am’s Josh Creamer got off the gate right behind  Wienen in moto one; however, he slid out in a turn and ended up in seventh once he recovered. Creamer charged ahead and was in fourth at the end of lap one. He then got into an intense battle with Joel Hetrick; the two remained wheel to wheel until the eleventh lap when Creamer was able to make the pass stick. Creamer finished the moto in third.

Creamer got off to a rough start in moto two and was in sixth position on lap one. He put on a charge and moved to fourth for laps four through eight, but dropped to sixth on lap twelve. His 3-6 finishes earned his fourth for the round. He currently holds fourth in the championship point’s chase.

Josh Upperman - Honda 450R ATV
Despite placing 9th in Moto 1, #20 Josh Upperman made a charge in Moto 2 to finish 2nd earning him fifth overall

Baldwin Motorsports’ Josh Upperman rounded out the top five in the AMA Pro ATV class after finishing 9-2 at the round. Upperman was in tenth off the line in moto one and moved up to ninth on lap six. He battled back and forth with Walsh Race Craft’s Nick DeNoble before securing ninth place on the last lap.

The second moto went much better for the #20; Upperman got off the gate well and was in second just off the pace of Natalie for much of the moto. He continued to hold the second spot with no challenges from the rest of the field. He finished just 4.515 off the pace of Natalie in the moto. Upperman currently sits in fifth place in the class standings.

After an outstanding showing at round two, Corrosion Specialties’ Joel Hetrick finished sixth at round 3. The #88 scored 4-5 and earned himself enough points to continue to hold second in the championship chase. Hetrick was in third near the beginning of moto one and quickly found himself in a wheel to wheel battle with Creamer. The two kept up the show until lap eleven when Hetrick dropped to fourth spot. He remained there until the checkers.
