“There wasn’t much excitement to moto one. Once I got into fifth I just stayed there and concentrated on a finish,” regarded Natalie of the first moto.

DWT's #13 John Natalie grabbed the Moto 2 Holeshot at Ballance MX

Natalie grabbed the SSi Decals Holeshot  Award in moto two and despite pressure from Baldwin’s Josh Upperman in the first half of the moto, Natalie was able to hang on to the number one spot and claim his first moto win of the season.

“I watched the weather before moto two and made sure I had my Honda set up perfectly for the conditions. I rode smart; I didn’t care how much I won by I just wanted to win. I didn’t make any mistakes and I am stoked to get my first moto win this year. And now that I’ve been on the box you can expect to see me there more often,” said Natalie.

Thomas Brown - Yamaha YFZ450R ATV
Wienen Motorsports / Yamaha's Thomas Brown earned his third appearance on the Pro Podium this season at Ballance MX. Brown rounded out the Pro Podium in third

Thomas Brown rode his Wienen Motorsports / Walsh Race Craft Yamaha to his third third place finish of the season. Brown has been the most consistent racer this year and his hard work with his new team is showing each round. Moto one went really well for Brown; he got off the gate behind his teammate and continued to gap the rest of the field. His consistency kept him in second until the checkers on lap thirteen.

#84 Thomas Brown currently sits third in the 2013 Mtn. Dew AMA Pro ATV Motocross Points Championship

“The first moto went really well; Chad (Wienen) got a bit of a gap over me, but I kept a gap over third place so I’m pretty happy with it,” regarded Brown.
Brown didn’t have as good a ride in the second moto; he got off the gate and was hit by another racer. After coming to a stop from the hit he charged from next to last up to eleventh by the end of lap one. He kept pushing and moved into the seventh position on lap nine where he remained until the finish.
