Round 2 |
Fighting for the holeshot in both motos, Gibson
found the lead inside the first lap and never
looked back as he put distance between himself
and Casey Martin in both motos. Martin settled
into second place and left this round holding
a 2-2 record on the weekend in Pro Am Production.
The battle behind the race leaders was intense
in moto two as Cole Henry and Brent Sellers raced
for the final podium spot with Henry taking the
third spot which gave him 3rd on the weekend going
5-3.
The amateur racing was fast paced and nonstop
all weekend as the weather conditions showed a
full spectrum from hot and dry to a down pour
with decreasing temperatures. With virtually no
interruptions, class after class powered off the
gate during the two days of competition.
