(6/2/2011) –
The 2011 ATV MX season presented by DWT has seen
quite a few interesting events unfold through the
midpoint of the season. The women’s class
has a new leader in the points race. Pro-Am Production
has quite a battle brewing as the chase gets heated.
Finally the Pro-Am Unlimited Class is watching as
the Rookie is taking control and not wavering as
the season progresses. If the rest of the season
turns up as exciting as the first half we should
have quite the race to the finish.
The Pro-Am Unlimited class has the Rookie Jeffrey
Rastrelli off to strong start for the year with
his only real disappointment coming in round five
in Walnut, Illinois at Sunset Ridge MX, with a
fifth place finish. Other than that Rastrelli
won the first two rounds and has finished in the
second spot every other round to date. Mark Madl
is slowly gaining ground on Rastrelli with a third,
three first place finishes and two rounds being
10th and 11th place.

ITP's
#728 Jeffrey Rastrelli currently holds a
19 point lead over Mark Madl in the Pro-Am
Unlimited Class |

Rok Racing's Mark Madl is on fire with 3
wins in 4 races as he closes the gap on
points leader, Jeffrey Rastrelli |

#74
Kyle Fix claimed his 5th Podium finish of
the season at Steel City & he is currently
3rd in Pro-Am Unlimited Points |
Kyle Fix on his KTM is holding down the third overall
position with every finish of the year but one landing
him on the podium. The fourth place position was
taken in the last round as Jesse Barnes has out
finished Cole Henry in the last two rounds demoting
Henry to the fifth spot. Sixth place is held by
Brian Johnson, Seventh place by Jamen Davidovich
and eighth is held by Eric Lapato. Injured racer
Earl Bishop while absent is still maintaining 9th
in points while the final spot of TC Nales is just
one point away from breaking out of the tenth place
position in the eleven race series.
The Women of ATV racing are getting to experience
Michelle Natalie with four over all wins so far
this season giving her the edge she needs to keep
an eleven point spread over her next closest challenger
Heather Byrd. After troubles in the series opener
in Georgia Heather has been back on track with
two wins and three second place finishes nipping
at the heals of Natalie on the track and in the
points.
