AMA ATV MX National
Pro-Am & Women Mid-Season Update
::Continued::
Third through fifth place have all missed scoring
opportunities in at least one round. Kelsey Dyer
currently sits in the third spot and will have
her hands full staying ahead of Samantha Cheetham
who is close behind her in fourth place. Fifth
place Megan Manshack is just a single point ahead
Jamie Jones, but Manshack is done racing for the
season, which will boost Jones into the top five.
The Women’s class still has a lot of racing
left and it will be interesting to see if Heather
Byrd is ready to hand over the reigns to a new
champion this season.

#10
Kelsey Dyer finished sixth at Steel City
& is currently 3rd in the points race |
#2
Jamie Jones is currently sixth in the Women's
Class points race |
Pro-Am Production is the main event for the Sunday
ticket this year and has presented some awesome
racing through the mid way point. Casey Martin
has kept his Moto-Xpert’s Honda in the lead
spot so far this year but Mark Madl is not going
to hand anything over with out a fight. Madl is
just two points behind Martin and has closed the
gap over the past few rounds.

Moto-Xpert's
#75 Casey Martin & #74 Aaron Meyer are
off to a great start to the 2011 Pro-Am
Production Class season with Martin currently
leading the points race & Meyer is holding
down the third spot |
Aaron Meyer is third place in the points and
is in a points battle with Jeffrey Rastrelli who
is just three points behind him in fourth. Meyer
and Rastrelli have both taken an overall in the
first six rounds and both have made it clear that
they are not done with the top spot on the podium.
The season is early enough that any of the four
riders can make a dash for the championship.
Ronnie Higgerson rounds out the top five in the
class aboard his Suzuki taking advantage of racing
both Saturday and Sunday. Jesse Barnes is six
points back in the sixth place putting the pressure
on Higgerson with some strong showings in the
last few rounds. Nicholas Moser is holding steady
in seventh place just ahead of Kyle Fix. Chad
Reed is in ninth place with three racers tied
for tenth just behind him. Cole Henry, Craig Porter
and Ryan Henry are tied for tenth place and working
hard to keep their spot in the top ten and climb
higher if possible.
