Herrmann Racing
Hermann Bearing Carrier
(written by Leo)

Herrmann Racing Bearing Carrier 1

Sooner or later it happens to everyone.. You hear a funny noise in the back of your quad while riding, or perhaps your adjusting your chain and notice some play in your rear bearings. If your luck you catch it before any damage is done to the carrier itself, but if your like me, you find out about 15 minutes to late. Now that the carrier has been damaged, your faced with either getting a very expensive stock replacement, or one of the various aftermarket carriers.
Herrmann Racing Bearing Carrier 2 I've had great luck so far with my Herrmann racing A-arms, so I decided to give their dual row bearing carrier a try. It's a beautifully machined piece (almost to pretty to install!).. It has some heavy-duty features including dual row bearings (twice the bearing surface of a stock carrier), it also has a grease fitting, which allows you to grease the carier periodically. They also made signifigant improvemnts to the adjuster on this carrier. Unlike the large notches one the stock piece (you know the ones that your wrench / screwdriver slip out of!) the Herrmann carrier features precision drilled holes, along with a custom tool that fits perfectly, and doesn't slip out.. (don't panic if you forget it at home, your stock allen wrench will still work OK).. I have to admit this is one of my favorite features.

Herrmann Racing Bearing Carrier 3 In conclusion I have to say that I'm very happy with the craftmanship, attention to detail, and most importantly PRICE of this aftermarket carrier. Give them a call for a price quote, I think that you'll be suprised to learn that it's considerably less than many of the similar aftermarket carriers on the market today. I'm very happy with my decision to go with a Herrmann carrier!

If you'd like to get yourself one, you can visit Herrmann Racing's web site or give Brad a call at 215-679-2410, make sure to tell him you saw his carrier on ATVriders.com!

They manufacture many different aftermarket parts for all sport quads, so be sure to check out their web site today!
