AC Racing Front Bumper for the 400EX

I purchased an AC front bumper w/mud screen for my 400EX. Not only does it provide more protection than the stock unit, it also looks much better. It is constructed of aluminum tubing. The overall construction seems good enough but, the welds could have been cleaner. The bumper bolted right on without any difficulties using the existing hardware. I have heard that some AC bumpers do not fit well. Maybe I got lucky with mine.

So far, the AC front bumper has done a decent job. The mud screen seems to do its job well. I have run over some small trees (usually not on purpose) and tagged a big one. The bumper has taken the abuse very well. If you are looking for a more stylish and durable front bumper, you can't go wrong with this one. (A little Mother's aluminum polish really makes it shine!)
