Taft, CA (1/24/2011) - Polaris
once again stepped up their game with the surprise
release of the 2011 Polaris RZR XP 900 on New Year’s
day, and they have already began showing up at dealerships,
and we had the opportunity to check out a stock
unit at the WORCS season opener this past weekend.
Also, Coastal Racing’s Scott Kiger and William
Yokley raced two modified RZR XP 900s’ at
the Honolulu Hills race.
We did some digging to find out some more information
on the Polaris RZR 900 XP before we go to the
official Polaris press event in the near future
when will get a chance to actually ride and review
their newest high performance SxS offering.
Here are some of our photos along with some information
we discovered about the new RZR XP 900.

The Polaris
RZR XP has an all new heavy duty frame
& the wheel base of the Polaris RZR
XP 900 is 4.4" longer than the RZR
S with an additional 4" in the rear
and .4" up front

The Polaris
RZR XP 900 features new LED headlights,
and the good news for current RZR owners
is that these new LED lights will also
work on other RZR models, but the connectors
are different, so a little wiring will
be required, but they will bolt up &
work

The RZR XP
900 has adopted some parts from the RZR
Family with a nearly identical dash &
also the front fenders are also the same,
but the black flare panels are wider.
The seats remain the same along with the
cockpit area.
