The machine shop and tube bending areas were also impressive. With six CNC multi-axis machine centers and four tube bending machines, workers cut and bend an average of more than four miles of tubing per day. Most of that tubing that is cut and bent goes on to one of the three main welding areas where more than 21,000 miles of welding wire is used each year, which is almost the circumference of the earth.
