Spelendora, TX (3/18/2013) -Root River Racing’s Sean Taylor has announced that he will make his Pro debut at the season opener of the Mt. Dew ATV MX National Championship Series. Last season, the #39, finished fourth in the Pro Am Unlimited Class and fifth in the Pro Am Production Class.
After a successful 2012 race season, Taylor decided 2013 would be a great time to move up to the pro class. “I sat down with Rick Gillette and Root River Racing and we made the decision as a team that I would move up and run the Pro class with their support,” said Taylor.
Taylor has spent his off season training with Root River Racing and Joel Hetrick in Splendora, Texas. The group has been working hard at the Rage ATV Training Facility. “The off season’s been going pretty well. Everything is working well and I am excited to get to Aonia,” said Taylor.

Aside from the jump to the pro ranks, Taylor’s program is very similar to last year. He will be competing on a 2013 Honda TRX450R ATV with support from Root River Racing, Rich Gillette and Pepsi. He will also be backed by ITP Tires, Motowoz Shocks, DP Brakes and Rath Racing.
