I have an easy question for everyone. My 250X started leaking for the left crankcase cover gasket, I bought a new one and I have the cover off right now. Does anyone have any helpful suggestions of what to do and what not to do that you learned the hardway from? Do you use anykinda gasket goo with the new gasket that you are replacing? What do you do to clean the old gasket that is stuck on the crank case?

I know these are some pretty lame questions but I want to do it right and not have to take it apart again because its still leaking.
