Hitting the gas would just make the front end go higher. They say if you hit the brakes it will bring it down a little, but i've never tried it.

If the front end is up a little too high, than hit the brakes..if the front end is too low than hit the gas hard.....If it is so low that you can't bring it back than bail! You know have your pilot license!

Watch when you pull the clutch in to tap the brake because the front drops quick when you pull the clutch in once your used to it it works good
Make sure you pull in the clutch or you will kill the engine mid air . I also posted a big 'Jumping How To' in this thread http://forums.exriders.com/showthrea...7&pagenumber=2

What works for me is to put weight to the front end of your bike by leaning and pushing at the same time..... Hitting the back break is my last resort before bailing out...... You have to ride your quad not let it take you where it wants to go..... Shifting weight and using some muscle sould get you straight in the air or nose down on tabletops and doubles.....
Red 400ex.... mods include 440bbk....... fmf megamaxII headpipe and silencer.... K&N power kit and air filter.... Shaved front racing plastics.... Shock covers.... Nerf bars....and full skids....
New Ohlins shocks all the way around.... YEAH BABY!!!!!!
yeah if anything you should practice the rear brake thing before you ever use it in a emergency
And normally the back brake thing only works on big jumps,,,every now and then I practice it but never needed it,,I do like diceman said,,,just flop my beer belly over the bars and it brings the quad nose down quiet nice..
