We started off for the race in the rain and it stopped before we got to the track. Well for the most part the road going in was good till we reached the last little hill going into the track. We ended up getting stuck and Chuck had just left for dinner so there wasn’t anyone there to pull us in so we unloaded the quad and pulled ourselves in. That was ok we got to the spot were we were going to pitch our tent and it started to mist again. The rain and wind lasted all night. When we awoke in the morning the rain had stopped and it was cloudy but the sun was trying to peek through. The sun finally came out strong during the second youth race. The track was 8 ½ miles long and consisted of big hills, creek crossings, straight aways, mud, mud, and more mud and ruts, and tight woods.
