This weekend was the Virginia beach round of the NQRA series. There was a decent turn out with riders of all skill levels participating.
The course was built right on the white sandy beach mere yards from the ocean and the ultra popular boardwalk. Towering hotels lined the track giving spectators a wide variety of viewing areas.
Racers of any level could handle the jumps, whoops and other typical obstacles found on any MX track, the greatest obstacle at this race is the sand
Early saturday morning found the workers busily prepping the track before practice. The course was worked after every few heat races to keep the track consistant.
Pit parking was on the beach in the Inlet area and the event stretched from 1st street to 8th street. The Atlantic Ocean made for a spectacular back drop for this event
Youth riders were first to hit the track for practice. There was a 50cc and a 90cc class with machines that ranged from stock to fully modified competing
