AMA or ATVA ?

I have decided to run the last 3 races at Hawkeye Downs (Cedar Rapids Ia). This track is an AMA track, so should I join AMA or ATVA? The ATVA is just another part of the AMA right? I thought I would get signed up before race day, even though I can do it at the track. By the way what does it cost to join and get my number? Are you required to get a district card also?

AMA/ATVA card should be the same thing and it will cost ya 50 beans...for a year membership...
