So far no work on sat. so the plan is to hit both days. Weathers looking perfect to so let's see the big numbers like last yr!

whats the cost? got my AMA already, i understand i'll need a $15 D14 membership and probably $10 gate fee; how much is a class and will there be an additional PTR fee too?

06-08-2011, 08:51 AM
Gate fee is $10 per day, so if you come in on Saturday, you'll have to pay for both days and then get your second $10 back on your way out Saturday afternoon.

No additional PTR fees, although I bet they would take a donation. :)

Classes are $25 for first class and I think it drops to $20 for a second class if one isn't enough.

They run a split program so look at www.portlandtrailriders.com to see when your class runs.

afternoon it is... so i acutally get to sleep in?! :D

when is signup for the PM split? and will i have a hard time getting my rig in the pits with the AM crowd already being there? (24ft enclosed)

To be honest, I don't know if there is a specific time they start taking sign up for afternoon. You may be able to sign up as soon as the morning races begin . . . To be sure, you could email Terri Sweet at Portlandtrailriders@gmail.com.

We've always been morning program.

There should be enough room. There always seems to be. You might have to jockey the rig around a bit - go past a group of trailers and then slide behind them, but there are always openings off from the main drag.
