My friend has a rebuilt 400ex carb he will sale me for 50 bucks, Would this be a better carb than my stock carb thats on my mojo?

Yes but there are a few clearance issues you have to work out.
And an aftermarket exhaust helps.

You're better off going with a 36mm Mikuni from CWR.. the 400ex carb is nothing special.

You will have to shim up the tank a bit and it may make the plastics tight. I like Gregs stuff at CWR alot and have some of his stuff on the Lakota but you can get the same results from the keihn 36 off the 400ex for a fraction of the cost. The biggest issue you will have is the air filter getting dirty quick because you'll have to use an open angled filter from UNI to make it fit unless you can fab up an airbox to fit.

I forgot to mention that you will need the 400ex thumber and cable. For what its worth it isnt really worth it unless you have a bigger bore, cams, and exhaust. Get a port and polish done with all of these and wake up a little monster.
