Since there is no topic..i will start one of the PDV edition of this year...

for the first time i have saw with my own eyes the fabulous World Race.

In one word...Fantastic!!!

Great photos looks like the quad raceing over the pond is very strong with 120 teams racing .:eek2:

I tried to start a new thread, but i couldent for some reason.. anyways, the wife wants to go to france for a vacation next year. so i suggest august 22 or so.. heh heh.. how do i purchase tickets for pdv and has anybody been there/know about good hotels, etc. any info is appriciated!! thanks

You don't need to pre-book tickets just turn up and pay on the gate. The track is just outside the small town of Pont-de-vaux in france. So if you stay anywhere nearby you can drive to the track. I think Lyon is the nearest airport but I guess you will go to Paris. Its only about half days drive from Paris.

I have only stayed at the track because I was racing so can't comment on hotels. I imagine the big holiday/hotel websites can help you out with that (booking.com, expedia?)

Google maps the place and search hotels nearby.
