riding tracks

hey guys excuse my ignorance but i've never been to a MX track b4 and my friend as informed me of 2 tracks relatively close to where i live. and i was wondering if anyone can go there and ride or do u have to be during a race or something? in other words do u have to be racing to ride on those MX tracks?

I'd call or email the track,,,some tracks are for racing only and some are for practice,,you'll really need to ask the people who run it,,,cuz all tracks differ..:D
