ya I guess but if you aren't good enough to keep the engine running through the race then I guess that just makes a better opportunity for the better riders that may have gotten a bad start to get around you. Personally I haven't owned a bike with electric start and I won't miss a thing. I don't think it is needed and don't think it has a place in a "purpose built race bike." That is just my opinon though and everyone is entiteled to their own.
