An ignition advance key would give you a little more bottom end -not very noticeable though. You can't get much more bottom end then with a 440 kit and the stock cam - I think someting is wrong - have you checked the jetting? Any other cam, other than the XR, will take away from the bottom. What cam are you getting?

make your gearing lower, it will take off of the top end but it will give u a butload for bottom, special on that 440.

If a 440 kit with a 14t front sprocket doesnt give you enough low end then there is definately something wrong!! You must have it jetted wrong??
Speed is 95% rider and 5% bike, better make that 5% count!
