no.... i asked my dad why and he said oh i was just curious and he said dont even start on me i dont want you racing anyway, you dont need another four wheeler, we dont have the money, you need to get over it, etc etc etc......... no he asks me these ?s every once in a while to get my hopes up and then he totally crashes them down... he told me hed buy me a quad when i turned 17 and he def didnt do that...... he told one of my friends that he should buy a cannondale and just sit it in the garage and never ride it and not let me touch it...... just to tick me off...... hes just wrong!

Yes the motor will.
The only problem is the header.
The oil tank can be mounted up under the front plastic, I've seen it done and I have ridden a 300ex with a 400ex motor.

I think you can get 400ex motors for under 1k on ebay. I'm not sure though I havn't checked in a while.
i saw a 300 with a 400 engine in a mag awhile back
