    cst ambush

    are the ambush tires good on the 400ex. i ride on hard sand and a lot of road, are these good front and rears?

    I had a pair of the rears on my 400 for about 4 rides. I had to plug them 3 times in 4 rides, on the last ride I ripped the sidewall so bad it couldn't be fixed. They did hook up great when they had air in them. To be fair I do ride in very rocky, rough terrain. They may do better for sand and road riding.

    I had some on my 300ex for a little while before I sold it. I personally had good luck with them, as did a guy I know recommended them to me.

    But I have read some bad reviews- so.

    I myself have been interested in Sti tech 4 XC tires Looks to me like it all started with a knock off of a razr cross mx tire.
