Question Quadtech hoods and Fullbore plactics?!?

I would love a set of red Fullbore plastics or a Quadtech hood for my project. I have a custom quad that uses 400ex (99 to 04) plastics and other various parts. I have a set of old silver Fullbores but I want to go to a "stock" Honda color scheme. I am going to paint the frame a stock Honda grey and wanted Honda red plastics. I want to either go with red Fullbores or I am going to order a set of factory red plastics from Rocky Mountain but I do not want the head light. In its place I would install a quadtech hood. It has been years since i have looked into 99-04 400ex parts and there is nothing out there! There isnt one Quadtech hood left anywhere? I ran my old ones into the ground and its looking like thats what everybody did...

I'm pretty sure that Quad Tech quit making 400ex hoods quite awhile ago. You can buy a 450 one and make it fit though.

The Lakers look nice. I forgot about that company. Is Laker still in business? Their website is "under construction" with no contact information given. There is only 1 vendor online that I found that carries Lakers plastics. I will give them a call and see if it is true. Nothing at all on ebay. I am suspecting Laker is gone too... Hopefully not the case.

So nobody carries Laker Custom plastics anymore either. I am thinking I will get a set of stock 400ex plastics (1999 style) and put a Maier 250r smoothie hood on it. It looks like those Maier 250r hoods are still available. I would love to just use Maier's 400ex race fender but I think they are so ugly...

I used a 250r hood on the last 400 project I did. takes a little trimming to make everything look right. I used OEM red plastic and a Maier black 250r hood. that's the only hood I could find to work. good luck.
