2 Line or 3 Line Brake Lines

Hi guys, just got a set of houser +1 XC a arms. I am looking for any opinions on wheather to get streamlines 2 line kit or their 3 line kit. Also, would their standard leangth lines fit my +1 a arms or would i have to go up to the +2s? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I never liked the 2 line kit, because of how far both lines stuck out from the master cylinder. This would make it very easy for it to loosen in a crash. The way the cylinder is made, it has prongs to keep a single line from rotating. Plus the single line off the cylinder just looks better.

True about the line sticking out . The two line kits hold more fluid which helps from it heating up and from breaking down less . Which helps from the brakes fading .

I had a 2 line kit, never got damaged in a crash and I honestly liked the feel of the brakes better.

I have a 2 line kit on my 450 and a 3 line on my 400. The 450s brakes are deff. better, but I think most of it is the 450 calipers and master. I would get the +2 lines just to be safe, I got stock length Streamline lines and they are just barely long enough to reach and not get pinched or bound up under shock travel.

I agree, the 2 line kit seems to have stronger braking power. I had both types and the 2 line feels much better to me.

2 lines, Far better feel and less fade than 3 lines. Something I learnt racing a 700xx. Never fried the brakes till I raced the 700xx. All good fun.
