The rebuild was on the motor.
Duncan bored the cylinder 40 over
Paul turner mid-range pipe
Paul turner head 19cc dome
36mm carb with super flow and twist throttle
Pyramid reed valve
Replaced all bolts and studs, card boot, insulator, radiator hoses, renthal bars, renthal sprockets and chain
Just put this one together for my girlfriend,,, granny smith green frame, lsr +4 axle and carrier, stock a arms chromed, pro tapers, brand new maier plastics, stock bore with cool head and vf3's, esr trx5 center mount and airbox elim kit. Nothing crazy fast for here just good lookin (I think)....

Here's mine thus far. Just gave her a heart transplant and plan on doing a dirt ride before I mount up my new sand paddle setup.
The heart is a LED Performance Engines ported CPI 350 Sphynx NON PV cylinder with an LED custom tuned pipe. Using 30cc dome @190lbs, Vforce3, Keihin 41.5, 01 CR250 igntion and Slingshot lockout clutch.
I wanted a bike with a crap ton of HP while maintaining reliability. There is more HP to be had but I chose to stay on the low side.
Dyno comparison of my bike now VS before with stock ignition, no lockout and 38AS carb. (sorry only HP being shown no torque)
Here's a Dyno with HP and Torque with my old setup listed above. Notice that dip at the top? That went away with the CR250 ignition not to mention a few other gains

sold my 250r in november 2011, miss it so much! by far the beast atv ever bulit. hope I get the money to build another some time soon!
