my big bear makes a clunk sound when disengaging from 4 wheel to 2 wheel drive . i am the original owner 2003 and have never had this problem. any suggestions!!!!!!!!!!!!!

from day one i have always been able to go from 2 wheel to 4 wheel and back while moving at any speed.

Mine shifts fine but there is a clunk. I am having them go through mine right now. Check to see if the front transaxle is leaking fluid. My is and that is the issue they say. It is a bad seal. Common replacement about every five years according to dealer.
