I see it is a big bore kit, what size piston would it be and compression. I would think it would be a big bore with a stroker.

I'm pretty sure that is a 440 with a +4 stroked crank but that should only be a 460.I dont know where the other cc's would come from unless it is a bigger stroked crank. The piston size would be an 89mm
No there 465 does not use a stroker crank if i remember correctly. Anything bigger than that uses a stroker.
Give them a call and talk to them about it. But ya the 465 is just a larger bore. The 500 uses a stroked crank.

Id be concerned about the heat and how thin it would make the sleeve. Maybe the compression isnt to high? The piston would be a 92mm i think

Some company's...an maybe FST would use the stock length crank, split the cases an put a much larger sleeve in. So the stroke was stock, but a much bigger piston....if I remember right, the FST 500 had the same thing done with the cases an cylinder, but with a stroker crank...it could start out at 480 an be bored up to 510 cc I believe...I think that took a 95mm piston. Chad Duvall ran the 500cc in GNCC Pro's an was very good with it, even when the YFZ's came out. FST told me it ran reliable all season long...I almost did this to mine, but it is kinda costly....I went with the KTM 520EXC motor in my 400EX instead...its actually has a 95mm piston an same stroke as the FST500.....making it actually 510cc....which is what the KTM motor displacement really is.

Ya it requires a larger sleeve.
I know the They ran a few in GNCC and they were said to be reliable but i never ran one.
I was thinking about building one also but just figured it wasnt practical. So i went 426 instead haha

Not sure if Powroll offers the +7MM crank anymore, but most stroker motors are +4MM. +7 or larger custom crank would require trenching the case to accomodate the roll out of the crank. A larger sleeve would be rediculously close to the studs. Already with a 89MM sleeve you are into the threaded portion of the studs which is where the heat builds up causing the studs to pull. I've always been curious to see what the difference in the PC4000 cylinder (Duncan) is. There are people on here with 495/500 builds so curious to see the heat/reliability of them.
