blowing oil out of my crankcase breather

anyone know why there would be oil coming out of my crankcase breather and some into my airbox, I JUST rebuilt my motor. Has about 3-4 hours on it. the rings are in right and I cant think of anything else it can be. Also a completly unrelated question, is there supposed to be splines cut into the washer that goes on my clutch basket. any help would be appreciated

check to see if your oil is returning to your resivior. it could be the oil pump is not working correctly and the oil has no were to go, it is just staying inside the motor.I just had this problem and that is what it was on my bike the oil would come out thru the breather and even some past the rings and thru the filter.

probably not the right way to do it but run the bike and pull off the top line of the oil resivior and see if it is spitting out oil.( thats what i did).DO NOT RUN IT LONG.The right way to do it would probably be to pull off the allen bolt on the top right side of the motor just under the valve cover and check it with an oil pressure gauge.

when your getting oil out of your breather your getting a blow by from the rings not sealing right or cylinder is not perfectly round anymore. Its letting to much compression by into the crank case blowing into your intake. Or you have to much oil.
