    62" Recurve TakeDown build.

Well my current project in my wood shop is an 62" TD recurve at 28"55#. Being out of work its hard to save up some money so the build is goin real slow. I just got the riser about 90% finished. Roughed shaped it with my band saw and an few hand saws. Got the profile with an rasp and a drum sander attachment to my drill. Finished if off with 220 grit sand paper and some good ol elbow grease. Have about 8 or so hours into it. Tell me what ya'll think!

Here is what I started with,

And here is how she sits right now.

That is going to look awesome!!

This is my ultimate goal with my archery: make my own recurve and harvest an animal with it. About a year ago I ordered the catalog for buying all the stuff but thats as far as I got so far. Keep us updated!!!!
