Quad runs good but looses power under a heavy load like going up hills. Any ideas, never owned a utility before.

Are you using the ESP to hold it in a lower gear for hillclimbs????
I have heard that these freewheel below 8 mph, so there is no engine braking. Personally, I like lots of engine braking, so I was wondering what you think of it????
