haha unfortunately im referring to every pic that must have been of the finished product! the pics of the engine are the last ones that work, and the one of it sitting in your living froom is the closest to the finished thing i've seen besides the videos.

if you wouldnt mind to email them that'd be cool. but it's up to you, you dont have to, i'd just like to see it.

The 79 yz engines are hard to come by.The earlier 77 and 78 motors seem to be easier to get.The 79s did run better than the earlier versions though..Paulie would know more though

    Thanks alot Clay!
It came out alot better then I ever expected.
The 79' is different from the other 400's in that it has a smaller bore and a longer stroke. Also with the 79' Yamaha changed the case and cylinder design. The 79' is the father of the YZ465 as well as the 490. It also makes the most power out of the bunch of 400's. You can pick up a 79' on Ebay from time to time. The $ range from $250 to an insane $650- the last one I seen on there went $650.
There is no dyno around these parts but I'd estimate the HP to be @ 60 maybe more with the alcohol.
Recently I've done some upgrades. I added a Nology pro-fire coil, I polished my now RDZ alcohol converted carb, blasted and painted my jug and pipe, and added a silencer/sparky from a Quadzilla.
    Some fresh pics
