anyone ever try this? whats the pros & cons? does anyone make exhaust for this set-up?

that would be like putting a geo metro motor in a mustang. if anything I'd go vise-versa
Arm stretching, heart pounding, sweat inducing....2-STROKE-POWER!!!!
^^^^^ i totally agree, a 250r frame needs more power than a blaster engine

Don't get me wrong, I'm not tryin to be a jerk. I just don't think it would be worth it. I own a blaster, and I'm considering putting a R motor in it, but going the other way around would waste the potential of the R's geometry/power.

well if you were using it for motocross and for some reason you wanted to stay in the blaster class than i would do it if not then i would use the r motor

yeah, thats one exeption.

the ideal of this is because of the better handling and better swing-arm design, better brakes, and we allready have it with no motor & it has +3 a-arms and lonestar axle.we want to stay in the blaster class but we keep bending swing-arms and frames.
in that case I'd say go for it. I'm not sure, but I don't see any reason that a blastre LRD setup wouldn't work. (it's been a long time since I've seen an R so I don't know for sure)
Arm stretching, heart pounding, sweat inducing....2-STROKE-POWER!!!!
yeah but you might have to make new exhaust brackets for it

as i brows the many forums i go on daily.. i see people talking about all thease hybrids and thinking about doing them. well.... theres a goodside and a bad side... the bad side is.. never ever ever put anything bigger than a blaster motor into a blaster frame.. i mean.. thease frames hae to be the worst handleing frames out there besides mini quads... as thease hybrids mmsut ride like piles of ****.. i mean.. would you guys put a blaster motor into a lt-80?!
the good side is.. the 250r frame and blaster motor is a very good combination. theres one forsale at mosst of the neatv races.. it jsut dosent sell because its a production class up here. the quad must ride so smooth... the exelent handling 250r chassis and the blaster motor are a good combination for somone staying in a blaster class where you can have hybrids.
the hybrid has a 250r pipe in it, it loks amazing and would probily dominate my class now that the 2 300exs are going to not be there.
