Just wondering what some of you would do for the main jet and pilot jet. I have a 400ex (no motor work) slip on WB e-series, and a K&N with a K&N powerlid. What's your thoughts Thanks

155 main 42 pilot, 2.5 turns out air/fuel screw. That works fine for my quad (before the motor work) but i'm at sea level.

Do you know what the stock pilot jet is? And where is the air screw.
Thanks a bunch
Stock pilot is a 38, air/fuel screw is being the idle knob, at the bottom of the carb in front of the float bowl, you will eaither need a really small FLATHEAD screw driver to turn it or take the carb off (not enough room)

i use a really long needlenose pliers to turn the air/fuel screw.

I've used a real long skinny screw driver working from the right side of the motor to move the fuel screw, more like pushing the screw around PITA but it worked.
Isn't the fuel screw 'non-adjustable' on the newer 400ex's?

the fuel screw on the newer 400exs does not have a groove in it so you can't turn it. i think i have heard of people cutting their own groove so it can be turned. however, the idle screw and the fuel screw are not the same thing. the idle screw you can turn with your left hand while the fuel screw you can turn with a small flat blade, if you have an older model (04 or older i believe).
