Probably not the right quad for you if you're just gunna be putting around with it .... seems like this quad likes to go fast ... high revs , suspension works better when its going fast and hard and it's built to be standing up most of the time ( hard seat) ... trail quad I'd say a 400ex or Z400 .... just my opinion !!

i used to own a 400ex and loved it....
my yfz is just like that 400ex with more of a punch and handling ... you can pin the gas and it will just take off.. no standing up bs
anyhow if the trails are reallly rocky then i would say no its not gonna be fun cause you are going to ride that clutch alot .
but if you are going to hill climb and trail ride i would get on the 450 yamaha and try it out..
